The Lady Chipps remained unbeaten, improving to 8-0 on the season with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Firestone in a match that stretched over three hours and saw 32 players take the courts. It was a true team effort that provided valuable experience across the lineup.

Clara Kirkhart set the tone at first singles with a dominant performance, while Emma Kirkhart followed with a confident win at third singles. The match of the night came at second singles, where Mak Dulin battled through a grueling, emotional contest before falling just short in a tiebreak. At doubles, Abby Sines and Tori King attacked the net with confidence in a decisive win, while Rosie Pierce and Mila Pinkus battled hard but couldn’t quite find the consistency they needed.

The JV squad also shined, winning the majority of their matchups and showing that the future remains bright for Chippewa tennis.

The Lady Chipps now turn their focus to Thursday, when they travel to Canton South to face the defending league champions in what will be their toughest test yet.
