Chippewa wrestler Kayla Moroschan was honored at the Ohio Statehouse following her outstanding state championship season.

Chippewa wrestler Kayla Moroschan received special recognition at the Ohio Statehouse for her incredible accomplishment of winning an OHSAA State Wrestling Championship.

Kayla was recognized by Meredith Craig and Sharon Ray, who presented her with an official resolution on behalf of the Ohio House of Representatives in honor of her outstanding season and state title achievement.

Being recognized on the Statehouse floor is a tremendous honor and reflects the dedication, discipline, and commitment Kayla has shown throughout her athletic career. Her accomplishments continue to bring pride to the Chippewa community and serve as an inspiration to future Chipps student-athletes.

The opportunity to be celebrated at the state level highlights not only Kayla’s success on the mat, but also the impact of hard work, perseverance, and representing Chippewa with class and excellence.
