The Chippewa Boys Soccer team earned their first win of the season in commanding fashion, defeating Southeast 6-0 with balanced scoring and strong defense.


The Chippewa Boys Soccer team bounced back in a big way, cruising to a 6-0 shutout victory over Southeast. From start to finish, the Chipps controlled the pace of play, creating scoring chances and keeping the defensive pressure high.

Offensively, the Chipps spread the success across the lineup. Corbin Gasser led the way with two goals, while Parker West, Alistair Jonke, Brady Mitchell, and Luke Blaz each added one of their own. Assists came from Owen Riggenbach, Cason Leach, Sam Siniscalchi, Jack Mosier, Ian Goodrich, and Parker West, showing the team’s unselfish play and depth of contributors.

Defensively, the Chipps kept Southeast scoreless thanks to a solid effort in goal by Davey Hutchison, who tallied four saves. On the other end, Southeast’s keeper, Garret Davis, made eight saves despite facing 33 Chippewa shots. The Chipps also held a 4-0 edge in corner kicks.

With the win, Chippewa moves to 1-1-0 on the season, while Southeast falls to 0-2-0. The victory marks an early-season statement for the Chipps, who look to continue building momentum in their upcoming matches.
