Chippewa Robotics Shines at National Competition 🤖🏆

Chippewa Jr./Sr. High School Robotics students showcased their skills on a national stage, competing against top teams and earning impressive honors through creativity and teamwork.
Chippewa’s Robotics team turned creativity into innovation as they competed at a national robotics competition, representing our school with skill, determination, and pride. Facing off against more than 1,000 students from over 100 schools across 15+ states, our Chipps rose to the challenge and delivered an outstanding performance.Throughout the competition, students demonstrated exceptional problem-solving, teamwork, and technical ability. From designing and building robots to troubleshooting under pressure, their hard work and preparation were on full display in every event.
Opportunities like this not only highlight the strength of Chippewa’s programs but also prepare students for future careers in engineering, technology, and beyond. The dedication and perseverance shown by these students reflect the very best of our school community.
The energy throughout the weekend was electric, with students supporting one another and celebrating each success along the way. Watching them adapt, compete, and grow in real time made this experience truly special.
Highlights from the weekend include:
• Andrew Yost and Xavier Zollinger earning a Gold Medal in the Sumo Challenge after an exciting Grand Championship match
• Daniel Wilson taking Gold in the Mini-Sumo division and receiving a Honda Innovation Award nomination
• Andrew Yeager earning Silver in Micromouse with a self-built robot designed to autonomously solve a maze—an incredible accomplishment
