Sectional Success Continues.

Five Chippewa wrestlers earned podium finishes at sectionals and will represent the Chipps at the OHSAA Division III District Tournament this weekend.

The Chippewa wrestling program had a strong showing at the sectional tournament at Northwestern High School, with five wrestlers earning placements and advancing to the next round of postseason competition.

Congratulations to the following student-athletes:

• David King — 4th Place
• Grady Lambdin — 2nd Place
• Drew Nesity — 4th Place
• Ben Pierce — 3rd Place
• Xavier Zollinger — 5th Place (District Alternate)

These wrestlers will now compete at the OHSAA Division III District Tournament at Independence High School (6001 Archwood Road, Independence, OH 44131) on:

• Friday, March 6th — Wrestling begins at 4:00 PM
• Saturday, March 7th — Wrestling begins at 10:00 AM

Advancing to districts is a significant achievement and a testament to the preparation, resilience, and competitive mindset displayed throughout the season. The Chippewa community is proud of these athletes and looks forward to supporting them as they continue their postseason run.
