Local middle school girls can participate in Exploring STEM Day, hosted by the College of Wooster, where hands-on activities and inspiring leaders showcased exciting STEM careers.

Middle school girls grades 5-7th can explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math during Exploring STEM Day, organized by the College of Wooster. This engaging event, formerly known as Expanding Your Horizons, offers students a chance to dive into hands-on STEM activities while learning about potential career paths.

Leading the workshops are local women working in math-, science-, and technology-related fields. They share their expertise and personal journeys, inspiring the girls to envision themselves as future scientists, engineers, and innovators. From coding challenges to chemistry experiments, each activity highlighted how STEM can be both fun and impactful.
