Hutchison’s 10 Saves Highlight Chipps’ 0-1 Battle with Northwestern
The Chippewa boys soccer team came up just short in a hard-fought 0-1 match against Northwestern.
Keagan Kostohryz scored the lone goal for the Huskies, while senior goalkeeper Davey Hutchison kept the Chipps in the game with 10 saves against 20 shots. Chippewa created plenty of chances of their own, outpacing Northwestern in corner kicks (9-7) but couldn’t find the equalizer.
With the result, Chippewa moves to 3-4-0 on the season while Northwestern improves to 5-1-1.
