The Lady Chipps extended their unbeaten streak with a decisive 5-0 league victory over Central Christian on Tuesday night.

Abby Sines set the tone at first singles, playing some of her best tennis of the season in a strong win over a talented freshman opponent. Clara Kirkhart rolled to a commanding victory at second singles, while Emma Kirkhart put on another signature “Emma ball” performance at third singles — chasing down every ball and grinding out a well-earned win.

At doubles, Tori King and Mak Dulin picked up a confident straight-set victory at the top spot. The comeback of the night belonged to Rosie Pierce and Mila Pinkus, who fought through a tough first set, battled back to take a second-set tiebreak, and then sealed the match by winning the final three points of the decisive third-set tiebreak.

With the victory, Chippewa improves to 11-0 overall and 8-0 in league play. Next up is a highly anticipated road match at Canton South, where the Lady Chipps will face their toughest league test of the season.
