Real World Business Insights.

Every Friday, local business owners visit the Chippewa Jr./Sr. High School marketing class to share personal experiences regarding entrepreneurship and outreach. Students gain firsthand knowledge about starting a company and navigating the current business landscape directly from the experts.

Learning extends beyond textbooks in the marketing classroom at Chippewa Jr./Sr. High School. Every Friday, the space transforms into a hub for real-world entrepreneurial insights. Local business owners are joining our Chipps to share their journeys directly.

These valuable sessions provide a deep dive into the realities of starting a company and navigating the complex world of marketing. We are incredibly grateful to the diverse range of partners who have shared their struggles and successes with our students. The class has recently welcomed:

  • Whips Plumbing
  • Conrad’s Heating and Cooling
  • Howard Hannah
  • Diamond Beauty
  • Smitty’s Car Service

Connections like these are vital for preparing our students for life after graduation. By listening to the experiences of local entrepreneurs, Chipps gain a firsthand perspective on business dynamics and the dedication it takes to succeed in our community and beyond. It bridges the gap between academic theory and actual practice.

The energy in the classroom during these Friday sessions is palpable as students engage with speakers and ask insightful questions. Seeing local leaders invest time back into the next generation of potential business owners is a source of great pride for the entire district.

We look forward to continued collaborations that enrich our curriculum and inspire our student body. Thank you again to all the participating local businesses for supporting Chippewa students on their educational path.
