Honoring Our Local Heroes.

Chippewa Athletics invites our entire community to Serpentini Stadium this Friday, September 4th, for a special Hometown Heroes Night. Join us as Chippewa Jr./Sr. High School recognizes our local first responders, active-duty military, and veterans during varsity football pregame festivities.

Friday night football at Serpentini Stadium at Memorial Park is always a special tradition, but this week carries even greater meaning. Chippewa Athletics is proud to host Hometown Heroes Night during our varsity football game as we come together to celebrate those who serve and protect our community.

Our special pregame ceremony will honor all active-duty military personnel, veterans, and local first responders, including the Doylestown Police Department, Chippewa Township Fire and EMS, and neighboring agencies. During the evening, we will also pause to honor the life, service, and legacy of Scott Ries, reflecting on his lasting impact on our area.

Events like these remind us of the strength, unity, and gratitude that define the Chippewa community. Bringing our students, families, and neighbors together allows us to show our heartfelt appreciation for the men and women who put service above self every single day.

There is a powerful sense of pride that comes with standing side-by-side in the stands to salute our heroes. We are excited for an inspiring evening filled with Chipp spirit, community honor, and high-energy Friday night football.

We encourage all families, alumni, and community members to pack the stands and help us deliver a warm Chippewa welcome to our honored guests.
