Supporting Growth, One Step at a Time

At Chippewa Local Schools, our CES counseling team supports students as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Whether helping students navigate friendships, build confidence, or learn how to manage emotions, our counselors play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive learning environment. Through classroom lessons, small group sessions, and one-on-one support, we help our youngest Chipps develop the skills they need to thrive—in school and beyond.

Kindness in Action

Students at Chippewa Intermediate School are making a difference through small acts of kindness, creating a culture of care and positivity throughout the school.

At Chippewa Intermediate School, kindness isn’t just encouraged—it’s celebrated. This week, several students were “caught being kind,” showcasing their compassion and leadership through thoughtful actions that uplift their peers and teachers.

From helping classmates with schoolwork to holding doors and sharing smiles, these simple but impactful gestures are creating a ripple effect of positivity. Teachers and staff have been recognizing these students, shining a spotlight on the ways they embody the spirit of the Chippewa community.

Acts of kindness like these help foster a supportive environment where everyone feels valued. By recognizing and encouraging kindness, Chippewa Intermediate School is teaching students the power of empathy and the importance of making a difference, one small act at a time.

Our school is proud to see these young leaders setting an example for their peers, showing that even the smallest actions can leave a lasting impact. Stay tuned as we continue to celebrate the wonderful ways our students spread kindness and care!
